Inherited stocks, gold, money,silver are exempt from income-tax.

Hello,
After so many days I am posting in this forum. Today, it came to my notice that government of india put restrictions on the stock of gold, an individual, mothers and daughters can keep in their home.
But all the inherited gold, silver, money, cash, mutual funds and properties are exempt from income tax. That means this restriction is on new purchases of any such assets made by any person. So many rich people would have inherited gold, money, land, and other assets in their home.Are all these assets are taxable?

I need to make auto trading in MT4 which has to place order frm MT4 to NEST / ODIN ..

* 6 Horizontal lines have to be drawn MANUALLY .. in which one is for buy , second is for Target and third is for Stoploss Same vise versa for Sell side .

* Horizontal Line can be moved manually

* Orders have to sent to NEST or ODIN while price meet outs the horzontal line respectively based on " order options "

PLACE ORDER WHILE PRICE MEETS THE LINE , or CROSS THE LINE or ONCE CROSSED AND AGAIN MEETS THE LINE ..

Interactive brokers order execution and data issues

Has anybody else been facing issues with delayed order execution and data feed with Interactive brokers recently?My fill rates have nosedived in the past 3 -4 weeks.

To give an example, consider the following image. The sceeenshot is taken at 15:23:11. At the bottom of the image, we can see that an order is transmitted at 15:19:39 for Syndibank futures buy at 66.70. But the order book does not have my order of 66.70 at the top of image.



I have raised the issue with Interactive Brokers and awaiting their response. In the meanwhile, do share observations if you have noticed something gone wrong with Interactive brokers over the past 3-4 weeks.

Please post your experiences with the UPI. Looks like it's going to be the next big thing and everyone will be using it to some extent. I don't have a smartphone so will welcome any experiences with UPI using smartphone.

I just saw an ad on TV saying that you can use UPI even if your phone does not have internet; and decided to give it a try.

1. Dialled *99#.
2. Got a message asking me to input 3 characters to identify the bank name.
3. Replied with "UBI".
4. It sent back another SMS giving out a menu of services (1. Balance check, 2. make payment etc..etc..).
5. Replied with 1 (balance check). Got a reply saying "Phone number is not registered". Surprised, because my phone no. is registered in the bank. Will check with the bank about it.
6. Tried again using "CBI" (central bank).
7. Got a message saying "External service is down".

Ok. First time. The application recognizes the bank name, has some issues further on. Will improve in due time, just as with the railway enquiries message.
