Has anybody tried Bollinger Band (Period - 7) or Donchain Channel (Period - 7/2) with Momentum (Period - 7) in Intraday trading?
Do anybody has any view of the above?

BNF Scalping

Hi,
I have few queries on BNF,pls do reply.Overlook mat karo bhai pls.

My idea is to do BNF scalping for 20 points.I will take 2 trades a day.
Queries aisi hah-

1)How much slippage/order jump do we generally face in BNF?
say I want to go long BNF at 18000 using SL-M order type,what price generally it should get filled?

2)My RR will be 1:1.To catch 20 points,my SL is 20 points.
Is 20 points SL too small for BNF?

Help Required In Straddle

I bought today an 8600 Call + 8600 put when Nifty was about 8580. I sold it when Nifty was about 8510. That is 70 points of Nifty. But I received profit of only 3 points.

To understand this, look at the scenario today at end of day

Nifty closed at 8508.

8500 straddle = 8500 Call (Rs 87) + 8500 Put (Rs 76) = Rs 163

8600 straddle = 8600 Call (Rs 42) + 8600 Put (Rs 129) = Rs 171

The difference is only 8 Rs. How is it possible. What is happening here? (The same thing is also happening in Aug series)

Any help is highly appreciated. This is screwing me up bigtime

Hello all,

I am Kurum, have been trading in Indian markets for the past 4 years. Better, I say I have been investing than trading. My areas of interest are IPOs and secondary markets. But I still did not understand how can I apply for small IPOs. (e.g; Kwality Pharma, came recently)
I go through different websites for data, analyse them by myself or I get tips from my friends, so that I make my decision to invest. One of my uncles suggested me this website. Looking forward for great discussions.

Short Straddle and trading future as per Supertrend Signals

Dear Members,

Markets have two phases. Trending or sideways.
For sideways market for one lot of Nifty, Sell 2 lots each of ITM Put and Calls and pocket approx 400 points premium. This will take care of the sideways movement. Now u trade one lot of NF as per supertrend on 30 miniut chart and if there will be strong movement we can earn in nifty future. If nifty remains sideways the points lost in whipsaws will be adjusted by points earned by short straddle. In this way whatever the market condition is we will earn consistently.
