Trading money of family members and relatives

Are there any processes I need to follow before I take money from my immediate and extended family, and trade on their behalf? Any licenses, tax liabilities, rules etc. I should be aware of? I was told that I will need a broker's license first before I trade someone else's money. Is it true?

Please clarify. Thanks.

Just FYI, I want to do algo trading, using Zerodha or IB APIs.

Coding for total volume vs number of contracts

Hi, I'm just starting to learn amibroker with datafeed from globa data feed for fno segment only. During market hours when i do an exploration based on volume the current bar volume is displayed as total shares while the previous bar volumes are displayed as total number of contracts. This causes errors when I do volume comparison. The problem resolves itself after market closes & the last candle is formed.
I spoke to the technical guys at global data & they that this is the way NSE provides the updates & there's nothing they can do about it. Is there a way to convert the present volumes as number of contracts or vice versa? Or should I simply switch my subscription to cash segment?
