How to use Quantopian's zipline to backtest trading strategy on Indian equity marke

I want to test my strategy with zipline but I don't know how to use it.
I can purchase historical data from Zerodha. Can anyone help me?
Has anyone used it for backtesting on Indian market? Can you suggest some other alternatives for backtesting that are as robust as zipline.
